Notification on SBR, BR and BFR
Dear Values Customers,
Effective 9 May 2023, our Standardised Base Rate (SBR) will be increased from 2.75% to 3.00% *p.a., Base Rate (BR) from 3.56% to 3.81% *p.a. and Base Financing Rate (BFR) from 6.56% to 6.81% *p.a.
Note: *Rates are subject to change in Overnight Policy Rate (OPR).

Muamalat Gold-i: Non Malaysian Citizens
Effective 1st June 2021, the Muamalat Gold-i Account and Muamalat Gold-i physical products will only be available to Malaysian individuals aged 18 and above. Accordingly, gold account holders for non-Malaysian citizens are given a period to perform resale transactions only and to close their gold accounts by 31st December 2023
Kindly visit the nearest BMMB branch or call our Customer Service Department at 03-2600 5500 for more information.
The bank reserves the right to close the gold account of non-Malaysian citizens if the account holder fails to close the account within the given time period without any further notice. Any Gram Balance will be sell off on current price and proceeds will go to customer’s Saving Account.

Muamalat Emas-i: Bukan Warga Malaysia
Mulai 1hb Jun 2021, produk Akaun Muamalat Emas-i dan Emas-i fizikal hanya ditawarkan kepada individu warganegara Malaysia yang berusia 18 tahun ke atas sahaja. Sehubungan itu, pemegang akaun emas yang bukan warganegara Malaysia diberi tempoh untuk melakukan transaksi jual semula sahaja dan menutup akaun emas mereka sebelum 31 Disember 2023.
Sila kunjungi cawangan BMMB yang terdekat atau hubungi Jabatan Khidmat Pelanggan kami ditalian 03-2600 5500 untuk maklumat lanjut.
Pihak Bank berhak untuk menutup akaun Emas pelanggan bukan warganegara Malaysia sekiranya pemegang akaun gagal menutup akaun mereka mengikut tempoh masa yang diberikan tanpa sebarang pemberitahuan kelak. Sebarang baki semasa penutupan akan dijual pada harga semasa dan hasil jualan akan dimasukkan ke Akaun Simpanan pelanggan.

No Charges Imposed on DuitNow QR

Kindly be informed that Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) currently does not impose any charges on DuitNow QR transactions.
Rest assured that we will give sufficient notice to all our valued customers and merchants on any changes or latest announcement to the above.
All BMMB QR merchants may continue to accept DuitNow QR payments from your customer without any charges.
