Money withdrawn from your insured deposit(s) is no longer protected by PIDM if transferred to a:

(a) deposit account payable outside Malaysia;
(b) deposit account held by a financial institution conducting Labuan banking business or Labuan Islamic Banking business;
(c) deposit account held by a non-DTM; or
(d) non-deposit account (e.g. Tabung Haji, unit trust, securities trading account).

MUAMALAT GOLD-i: NON MALAYSIAN CITIZENS

Effective 1st June 2021, the Muamalat Gold-i Account and Muamalat Gold-i physical products will only be available to Malaysian individuals aged 18 and above. Accordingly, gold account holders for non-Malaysian citizens are given a period to perform resale transactions only and to close their gold accounts by 31st December 2023

Kindly visit the nearest BMMB branch or call our Customer Service Department at 03-2600 5500 for more information.

The bank reserves the right to close the gold account of non-Malaysian citizens if the account holder fails to close the account within the given time period without any further notice. Any Gram Balance will be sell off on current price and proceeds will go to customer’s Saving Account.

MUAMALAT EMAS-i: BUKAN WARGA MALAYSIA

Mulai 1hb Jun 2021, produk Akaun Muamalat Emas-i dan Emas-i fizikal hanya ditawarkan kepada individu warganegara Malaysia yang berusia 18 tahun ke atas sahaja. Sehubungan itu, pemegang akaun emas yang bukan warganegara Malaysia diberi tempoh untuk melakukan transaksi jual semula sahaja dan menutup akaun emas mereka sebelum 31 Disember 2023.

Sila kunjungi cawangan BMMB yang terdekat atau hubungi Jabatan Khidmat Pelanggan kami ditalian 03-2600 5500 untuk maklumat lanjut.

Pihak Bank berhak untuk menutup akaun Emas pelanggan bukan warganegara Malaysia sekiranya pemegang akaun gagal menutup akaun mereka mengikut tempoh masa yang diberikan tanpa sebarang pemberitahuan kelak. Sebarang baki semasa penutupan akan dijual pada harga semasa dan hasil jualan akan dimasukkan ke Akaun Simpanan pelanggan.

-CLICKING ON THE LINK IN THE PDF THAT DIRECTS TO A FAKE WEBSITE FROM BMMB WITH INCORRECT ADDRESS

-LOGIN TO BMMB IMUAMALAT WEBSITE WITH INCORRECT ADDRESS.



BMMB customers should be aware that the bank or Bank Negara will not asked the customers via email or phone for verification to receive payments or other transactional actions. Customer should ignore them and call our bank Customer Care Line at +603-26005500 for clarification or report the matter.

PENIPUAN TAC

Pada awalnya mangsa akan menerima TAC untuk transaksi perbankan internet yang tidak dilakukan dan kemudian penipu akan menghubungi mangsa untuk meminta TAC tersebut melalui pelbagai cara, antaranya:
• Tersalah daftar nombor telefon mudah alih di perbankan internet.
• Menyamar sebagai pihak berwajib seperti PDRM, Kastam, LHDN dan sebagainya.
• Ugutan dalam pelbagai situasi.

Langkah keselamatan yang boleh diambil:
• SENTIASA ingat bahawa nombor TAC adalah sulit dan untuk tujuan transaksi yang dilakukan oleh diri sendiri.
• JANGAN beri TAC kepada sesiapa walaupun transaksi tersebut tidak dilakukan oleh anda.
• SEGERA hubungi pihak bank untuk semakan akaun perbankan internet anda di mana ianya mungkin telah digodam.
